The hamlet of Castle Ashby is a charming little village untouched by modern development and quintessentially English, with many walking routes through the beautiful surroundings, as well as a small courtyard of shops.
Castle Ashby House is a beautiful and historic country house, just minutes from the hotel. The grounds are within easy walking distance of the Falcon and the impressive gardens are open from March to October. The Marquis of Northampton's family have owned the 10,000-acre estate for over four centuries, and it encompasses many of the local hamlets and villages, including Castle Ashby itself.
